A Little About Me
I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Major in Education and a Minor in Math. While I love teaching all subjects, I am a math nerd & love teaching math! I have taught 3rd grade, 1st grade & Kindergarten. My role is to teach students socially, emotionally & academically. I strive to meet the individual needs of each student while making learning fun ~ I want my students to WANT to learn and do their best!
I grew up an Army Brat, so I have been blessed to live in many different states and Germany. After college I married my husband, Danny, who was in the Navy, so I got to move some more & have even more great experiences. We both come from big military families and have such strong admiration for all our Military!
We have 3 children ~ Jordan is 22 and a Senior in college, who will be going into the Air Force after graduating. MaryCate is 19 and a Sophomore in college. Zach is a Senior in high school, heading to college next year. I can not stress enough to you parents – squeeze your babies a lot, enjoy every little minute of this crazy stage of life you are in because I feel like it was just yesterday my children were in Kindergarten! It will fly by.
